The Wendy’s in Milton, Florida is going to be hiring very soon because a bunch of people are about to have their asses fired after an employee took a damn bath in the kitchen sink.
If you happened to be at that particular Wendy’s that day, I’m sorry your Barbecue Cheeseburger Triple, Baconator Fries and Vanilla Frosty took some extra time but it’s because every other employee was busy recording the idiot taking a damn bath in the kitchen sink. An Operations Manager for Wendy’s says they do know about the video and are investigating the situation. He has no comment at this time.
Spoiler alert! Here is his future comment:
We do not know what would compel a person to strip to his underwear and soap it up in the sink of a Wendy’s while his co-workers laugh and encourage the behavior, but speaking as a former young person who once egged his high school drama teacher’s house, I know that young people make bad decisions. Was getting into a sink at work to take a bath a bad idea? Yes. But allowing your friends to record you as you do it and then letting them post it to social media is way more stupid. In my day, if I was going to do something dumb like steal a potted plant from a garden center at 11:00 at night, at least I knew nobody was going to record it with their phone. The only way you could record things in those days was if you were rich enough to afford a video camera and then strong enough to be able to carry it for more than ten minutes.
This kid in the sink is going to get fired. His co-workers are going to get fired too. And then they’ll all get jobs at Tastee-Freez, Little Caesars or McDonald’s which are right down the street. Their lives will go on and they’ll each have a story to tell their grandkids. Well, they won’t have to tell the story because they’ll be able to Google it and show the story. Unlike me, they won’t be bogged down trying to describe exactly what it was like when I may or may not have stolen a shit ton of lawn ornaments from around the city and then deposited them all onto my friend Tracy’s front yard. (Dammit, I wish I had video of that. Kids today have it so easy.)
What can we learn from this video? Three things:
- Cleanliness is next to godliness.
- It’s good to have fun while at work.
- If you’re gonna do something stupid at your job, put the damn phones away before you do it. Be a kid and make bad decisions, but don’t do something stupid just for clicks and views because that video will follow you for the rest of your life.

this proves that the need for some idiot to have his or her five minutes of fame still alive in fact i seem to recall some guy did a similar thing at a restuarant too by bathing in a sink too. and like this guy and his co workers are soon to be . he later got fired for doing so.

Bitchy Waiter, I follow your face book page and enjoy most of your posts. This one bothers me though. I really wish you would not have posted anything about this stupid stunt this kid pulled. Do you have any idea how many people will stop eating at all Wendys for a long time if not forever for some people. That is just how people think. They cannot stomach such a behavior as this. And why should they? It is pretty grouse. I work in the restaurant industry. I own my own restaurant. The thought of some stunt like this going on in my establishment is overwhelmingly upsetting. And then to have it published on social media not only by the perpetrators but also by someone who has a massive following and popular site where thousands of people will see the terrible behavior. My business would suffer terribly. Maybe even have to close. As an owner I would rather someone come to me and let me know what went on so I could take care of the problem as privately as possible. I realize todays technology makes that a challenging task. But you did Wendys no favors by posting this.

I am also a restaurant server. And well aware of the situation. Where was the manager. And they all should be fired.

Plot twist: This kid *was* the manager.

What do you care if Wendy’s gets badmouthed on social media? This will hardly shut them down. And maybe a few of those “groused”-out customers will come try out your restaurant where the owner is actually present and paying attention.

My brother and his friends back in high school decided to steal Christmas decorations from a house’s front lawn. Turns out their target was a frickin’ FBI agent, and they got caught. Luckily the guy was cool and said he was a stupid teenage boy at one time too. They got to walk away with a big scare and had to apologize. Lesson here? Teen boys are idiots.

I am just slightly in love with your brother.
