A server in Texas last week got fed up with the whole “the customer is always right” thing and it ended with actual gunfire. Yes, after a customer got upset about the food and/or service, he picked a fight with his server who, having no fucks left in his apron to give, pulled out a gun and fired three warning shots into the air.
The Little Red barn Steakhouse in San Antonio is known for the servers dressing like cowboys and having fake guns in their holsters. Imagine the customer’s surprise when he learned that his server did not waste time with toy guns. According to the server, Ray’mon, the customer said, “That’s not my fucking drink. If you get my fucking drinks wrong, I can just imagine how wrong my food is going to be.” Shortly after that, the customer attacked the server and had Ray’mon in a headlock causing the manager to step in. This is when Ray’mon went and got his gun and ended that bullshit right quick fearing for the safety of himself and his co-workers. The customer ran away and so did the server. Ray’mon says he regrets leaving the scene, “but a lot of things (are) going on now and I don’t feel like I should of been at the scene when police came with a gun.” In other words, he didn’t want to get shot by the police when he was trying to explain what happened. Ray’mon isn’t an idiot. He is cooperating with the police and no charges have been filed. Since the restaurant has announced that their employees are not allowed to have firearms, Ray’mon is probably on the unemployment line today.
So what have we learned here? We have learned that if you are going to be a total dick to your waiter in Texas, you can’t be sure that the waiter won’t have a gun in his apron and show you who is in charge. We also know that servers at Little Red Barn have to wear stupid fucking cowboy costumes as their uniforms. Finally, we know that in Texas, it’s okay to carry around a fake gun but if you use a real one to protect yourself from a crazy asshole customer, you will go viral and lose your job.

Holy Cow BW! Congrats on the AMAZING reviews of your book on Amazon! Maybe I don’t read enough book reviews, but I can’t say I’ve ever seen a book have 4.9 stars with over 100 people giving feedback! Wish there was a kindle version, then I wouldn’t have to wait for it to arrive this weekend!
